Cabling

Structured Cabling is a set of standards that determine how to wire a data center, office or building for data or voice communications, using Fiber Optic Cabling, Category 5 or Category 6 cable and RJ45 sockets. These standards define how to lay the cabling in a star formation, such that all outlets terminate at a central patch panel (which is normally 19 inch rack-mounted), from where it can be determined exactly how these connections will be used. Each outlet can be 'patched' into a data network switch (normally also rack mounted alongside), or patched into a 'telecoms patch panel' which forms a bridge into a private branch exchange (PABX) telephone system, thus making the connection a voice port.

Materials We Stand By......

Austin Multi-Line Services uses quality materials for all of their installs, using major name brands such as Leviton, ICC, Belden, Essex, and many others. Austin Multi-Line Services is committed to bringing you the highest level of performance.

Leviton Category 3 And Category 5e QuickPort® Snap-In Connector
8-position, 8-conductor Category 5e QuickPort Snap-In Connectors feature dual-color-coded wiring labels with both T568A and T568B wiring patterns, for dual flexibility in a single connector, plus fast, accurate 110 termination of station wiring. Available in 13 colors. Meet standards for UL, NEC Article 800, and FCC Part 68, and fully compliant with published TIA-568-A requirements.

Belden UTP Category 3 and Category Wire
The Belden IBDN family of structured cabling systems provides a choice of several levels of system performance to best meet the needs of today’s diverse cabling networks. Each is composed of fully integrated, beyond industry-standards products. The quality of our components, our superior design and expert installation is what sets Belden IBDN apart from other structured cabling solutions.

Superior Essex Category 3 and Category 5e Cable
Superior Essex cable offers an exceptional value for jobs which require standards compliance at a cost-effective price. While Superior Essex cable meets all of the TIA/EIA 568-B.2 specifications, it also offers other features that make it easier to use, save on installation time and expense and ensure product quality during the installation. From the Quick Count® feature, which marks the exact cable remaining in the box, to the WideMouth payout design, which reduces tension on the wire as it is pulled during installation, Superior Essex cable provides more overall value than any other Category 5e product available today.
